iOS 4 / 4.0.1 T-Mobile iPhone MMS Settings

After Jailbreaking and Unlocking it's possible that the MMS function will not work. I used these settings to get my iPhone 3g iOS 4.0.1 working in T-Mobile.

• Go to Settings > General > Network > Cellular Data Network
• Input the following: 

APN: wap.voicestream.com

Username:

Password:

MMSC: 216.155.174.84/servlets/mms

MMS Proxy: 216.155.165.50:8080

• Exit, Reboot, and Done!

iOS 4 / 4.0.1 Jailbreak & Unlock for iPhone 3g

How to Jailbreak and Unlock the iPhone 3g for non-AT&T sim users (T-Mobile, etc).

1. Update iPhone 3g in iTunes 9.2 to the current 4.0.1 firmware.
2. Download Redsnow 0.9.5 for Windows or Redsnow 0.9.5 for MAC. This is used to Jailbreak.
3. Download iOS4 for iPhone 3g. Redsnow will need this file.
4. Turn the phone off by holding the power button. Open RedSnow 0.9.5 and follow the instructions.
5. When complete, turn the WiFi on in the iPhone.
6. Open Cydia and let it update itself.
7. Add the REPO 'cydia.hackulo.us'
8. Find and run Ultrasnow in Cydia and you are done!
